This serves as a repository for elements of the visual identity of the project for use by project participants for such occasions as talks, interviews, papers, letters.

NOTE: For print use the TIF files (1200 dpi), for the web the gif files (72 dpi). DO NOT USE GIF-FILES FOR PRINT - USE THE TIF FILES. DO NOT RESIZE IMAGES - THEY WILL APPEAR DISTORTED. If you need images in other sizes use the .AI vector graphics files below.

The 'graphic logo' has currently white as background. I will change it in the near future so as to be transparent and be usable with other backgrounds as white. -- VladAtanasiu - 31 Oct 2006

Name	File	Use
ORIGINAL	bernstein_logo.ai, bernstein_logo_vectorizedfonts.ai	Contains the original logos in Illustrator (CS2) format. Usually you won't need this.
LOGO	bernstein_logo_graphic.tif, bernstein_logo_graphic.gif	The graphic part of the logo: a paper making sieve and an in-octavo folio.
PROJECT	bernstein_project.tif, bernstein_logo_project.gif	Most common used version of the logo.
CONSORTIUM	bernstein_logo_consortium_long.tif, bernstein_logo_consortium_long.gif, bernstein_logo_consortium_short.tif, bernstein_logo_consortium_short.gif	Logos with the name of the consortium only. The is a long and a short variant (for economy of space).
LETTERHEAD	bernstein_logo_letterhead_horizontal.tif, bernstein_logo_letterhead_horizontal.gif, bernstein_logo_letterhead_vertical.tif, bernstein_logo_letterhead_vertical.gif	This is intended for letterheads. Put the horizontal variant at the top of your letter, or the vertical one at the left side of the letter.
TITLE	bernstein_logo_title.tif, bernstein_logo_title.gif	Just the textual information about the project, to be used like a title on a book, pamphlet, website...
SPLASH	bernstein_image_website.jpg, bernstein_image_website.psd	Splash image of the workspace website (jpg & Photoshop (CS2) formats, screen quality 96dpi).
ELEMENTS	chip.jpg, fft.jpg, ms.jpg, wm.jpg	Elements of the spalsh image.
TAG	bernstein_image_developmentsite.jpg, bernstein_image_developmentsite.psd	Header of the development site (TWiki).
ICON	favicon.ico	Icon for displayed in the address bar of web browsers.
