Mapping
Waqwaq offers an automated webservice that ingest georeferences files and delivers maps. This service allows you to produce maps of your own data that show:
- spatial distribution of locations in your datasets
- quantities per locations
- statistical summary
- contextual information on the locations
- various symbologies and basemaps
A
step-by-step guide explains how to generate your own maps with Waqwaq.
The following example is a map generated with the Waqwaq webservice and a Waqwaq dataset showing the localities where printing was taking place in Europe before year 1500, during the early days of European printing technology.
